“Memphis’ community nonprofit blood center LifeBlood is a crucial partner for all of the area’s hospitals and medical research, and now it will be able to get its donations a little easier. The Plough Foundation recently awarded LifeBlood with a $250,000 grant that will be used for the purchase of a new, custom-built bloodmobile. … Lifeblood says that mobile blood drives provided about 60 percent off all of the donations it received in 2014.
