MBJ: Southern Airways debuts Pittsburgh service

Memphis-based Southern Airways on Monday added daily nonstop service from Pittsburgh to Harrisburg.

There will be three daily flights connecting Pittsburgh to the commonwealth’s capital, Southern Airways said.

The regional carrier has been adding flights to and from Pittsburgh over the past several months, for the most part taking over from Silver Airways’ service. But there have not been nonstop daily flights between Pittsburgh and Harrisburg since 2008, when U.S. Airways cancelled the route, Southern Airways said.
