LocalMemphis: Nearly 250 School Children Received Free Bikes Nearly 250 kids got free bikes at the Liberty Bowl today, but they had to earn them. 249 children in Shelby County Schools who had perfect attendance with no tardys for the entire school year received the bicycles. Thirteen elementary and middle schools were represented at today’s event. Some of the super students we talked to say the bike will help make their summer a great one.
