“Memphis might not qualify as a cyclocross racing hotbed. That description better fits Seattle, San Francisco, Denver and Boston. But Memphis has something they don’t: the longest continuous running cyclocross event. This Sunday marks the 28th year for the annual Outdoors Inc. Cyclocross Championship race. This year’s event again will be held at Greenbelt Park on Mud Island. MBJ: St. Jude’s fundraising arm plans new $2.4M events center

“The fundraising and awareness arm of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, ALSAC, is planning to spend nearly $2.4 million renovating a historic building for a new events center on its Downtown Memphis campus.
