“Memphis might not qualify as a cyclocross racing hotbed. That description better fits Seattle, San Francisco, Denver and Boston. But Memphis has something they don’t: the longest continuous running cyclocross event. This Sunday marks the 28th year for the annual Outdoors Inc. Cyclocross Championship race. MBJ: St. Jude’s fundraising arm plans new $2.4M events center

“The fundraising and awareness arm of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, ALSAC, is planning to spend nearly $2.4 million renovating a historic building for a new events center on its Downtown Memphis campus.
