CA: Memphis in May reports $88 million economic impact in 2016 The Memphis in May International Festival delivered $88 million in economic impact this year, according to an analysis made public Wednesday; that’s up 15 percent from a similar study five years ago. The economic impact figure was produced by Sharon Younger of Younger Associates, a firm that previously prepared studies for Memphis clients including Shelby Farms Park and the Riverfront Development Corp.
